Big Brother 24: Kyle's Racism Controversy, Explained
I think the more help I can get, the better you know that another
controversy
has hit the big brother
season 24 house. It looks like Kyle
is finally facing a reckoning from him for the things he said about poc house guests this season and fans are left wondering what this is all about. it will unfold when I actually get to the show, there are many layers to this so let's get into it, I'm Anna Rumer and this is a pop culture social call out, if you're not watching the live streams you may have gotten confused. Hashtags like kkk kyle
have been all the rage in recent days and while Kyle
has definitely been caught saying problematic things or microaggressions throughout the season, the big turning point came when he was convinced a couple of weeks ago that all poc players were working together. in an alliance akin to a cookout 2.0 despite the fact that there was endless evidence to the contrary joseph monty and taylor have extremely strong connections to indy terrance and jasmine now kyle
floated this i say to michael and brittany you will remember this from episode that aired and he non-explicitly proposed that they should work with all the white house guests to combat the alliance that didn't even exist now both michael and brittany immediately said no i'm not going to assume that people are in an alliance based on race or any other factors britt even said it to his face in a very nice way this is wrong don't say you can i don't assume that would be no no now i'm not .![big brother 24 kyle s racism controversy explained]()
Michael and Brittany kept that exchange to themselves for a while, but when
Kyle
switched the leftover alliance and was trying to send Monty or Taylor home during Turner's Hoh, they decided it was time to tell the house and everyone was shocked now. it's kyle
sitting on the block next to taylor after the ban and it's pretty obvious who's the main target to go home the live streams have largely avoided showing what's developed since then which is frustrating but we know that Kyle
admits D to some kind of house gathering, but his motivations were rooted in race and he apologized to all the guests and vowed to seek therapy or some other kind of help to uncover those biases, Monty has since said on the feeds. that it was unbelievably painful to hear from kyle
i don't think he's a racist i just think he made decisions based on a race which by the way monty said he didn't hate kyle
and that He had hoped to continue to educate himself and get help.![big brother 24 kyle s racism controversy explained]()
Now, surprisingly,
Kyle
has found a bit of sympathy in Terrence, who has been actively campaigning to keep him on Taylor this week. i nova 2 created the after party alliance during dire fest so maybe that's why maybe he doesn't really like taylor but terence has said he thinks kyle
's behavior stems from living a sheltered life and nothing more now kyle
needs three votes to stay he most likely has a showmance alyssa and terence on his side assuming he doesn't actively just tells everyone to vote him up there is always a chance of a reverse vote but i just don't see that getting him succeed kyle
and it will be a very uncomfortable jury room when i get there.![big brother 24 kyle s racism controversy explained]()
