Can I Cook Giant Lobster On A Rock?
This right here is the
lobster but the pineapple for later but this is the coolest part we have this volcanic
rock and we are going to try to
cook it up on the fireplace like this and explain more about everything that is going nowhere 'Cause this is gonna taste absolutely delicious, or I'm gonna stuff it, we'll find out soon, right, oh, what we're gonna do is we get Jackson to ski here He anchors his ski and we're gonna just go from bommy to bomb spot to spot and kinda scat around and search and hopefully we find each other a
giant decorated crab oh jack I keep kicking all the jets like this so I hit my head so hard then I feel like I had a mild concussion.
I'm the biggest egg on my head right now. The boys are down in the distance over there they might be wrestling right now
Giant decorated crayfish I can see it now The father put it there He's sizing up his opponent He's hungry He wants to feed his kids that's a nice one , it's a bit darker, perfect size, jacko food in his family, that's a big, yeah, whoa, to the next point, there's a lot of things that could go wrong while you're down there I guess for me The scariest thing that lives in the same caves as the
lobsters are the moray eels if you don't know what an amore hill is, they're basically just a big muscle, basically they're so powerful and they have that crazy first set of jaws and teeth and they can be full of bacteria and they're really gnarly and sharp but that's not what really scares you.
They have a different jaw and in that jaw there are smaller teeth and they're used to literally locking in their prey, so I'm looking for bombs, which are big coral
rocks, anything with a deep, dark hole for the crabs to sort of hang out in . They are nocturnal they hunt and they are active all night we just got out of the water which was absolutely filthy in there we usually aim for the crabs but you can't even see your bloody arm in front of you, so we're exploring new avenues so the plan is jaco chasing away demons in front of the camera and i go and hop and look around and see if i can find all sorts of different stuff that we will bring you when we decorate in teen
Lobsters go they're going to grow into absolute monsters and that's what we're looking for today you damn beauty put it back in the drink let's go, it's very important to keep the life cycle going.
We actually did this full animation narration it will be in the description after this try and check it out it will enlighten you guys go nowhere because later on we're going to make one of the tastiest
cooks I've probably ever made, if it fucking works it's time to shake that concussion and i'm gonna hop in the drink with the boys and get some crayfish, uh what's up it's robin so yeah that's the perfect size wow so hmm oh i banged my head so hard good it was stars is it big i cant let you go right i have to let you go we like to be selective and sustainable , so these big guys are usually the breeders who can live in the water a lot longer than the typical fish and all that so we don't harm him but that's why we like to use our hands, we don't like them anyway impale or hurt them because they could also carry berries, berries are eggs and obviously they.
We're carrying her boys with this guy, we're gonna take him back there, we've got fire, baby, and we're about to put in that
cook. I've got the two huge
lobsters that we caught before you notice, the two distinctive colors of these
lobsters, they're the same species, this one's like a beautiful green, blue, there's a little bit of purple in there and stuff, he is a lot lighter this one over here is darker a bit more brown running through it purple I could probably let's do that first yeah yeah alright we'll do the nice green this one is ok let's go up and process this cancer that's almost the size of Stevie.
The one we put back, no joke, probably would have been this big, the one that's taller than you. You put them on your head. Welcome to Brody and Isla's kitchen. If you're about to prepare this beautiful
lobster, you really need meat shears, because what we're doing, because we're
cooking on the hot stone, we're actually going to separate the tail from the head of all the meat, the meat is in that tail, we're going to use the head and we actually have a recipe with the legs that we're going to try in another episode so subscribe we're going to do that later we're going to go upstairs and basically what we're doing is separating the meat from the head there and it'll settle down work it out it's basically like breaking a seal so we just want you to watch out for those side pieces, here they're razor sharp and they'll open you up, if you head that way you're fi If that so come on you're gonna finish so now we're going to flip it like this and then we're going to flip it one more thing before we have to separate that side now aren't we so let's go around it there m Putting the Ybs knife in it, young people, like, if you want one and cut it, yeah, just cut it like that, you gotta twist it and we gotta twist it and pull it, so we're gonna twist it that way gently and then look cut all the meat with the meat shears a few quick cuts straight down the middle of the shell through the tail flip it over the bottom is much softer a few more cuts like this put our fingers in run it along and basically just pull that off just like that separate the meat and dice it kinda get everything ready to put on the volcanic
rock can I use the shells please yes here happens a whole different catch
cook this is sand I need them thank you all i'm back from argentina hello we sorted out the visa somehow we'll tell you about it in a video that we shot later, but she's here for now we want to apply for a partner visa anyway i know actually i don't know exactly what we're doing with the pineapple here so vikki takes over a bit first we're gonna cut the pineapple in half you know ok oh my god no you gotta watch out you gotta watch ok yeah we work as a team that's dangerous i stay here let's go yeah we're going to scoop it out and then we're going to
cook it so we're going to
cook the diced parts and then we're going to put it back in the pineapple bowl with the crabs yes and a little love one Secret, it's a little stuff and it's going to be delicious, okay, hey, what are you doing under there?
I'll be the first to try it. not i'm trying to go like more essentially i'm just chopping out a little pineapple boat i'm going to scoop this out pretty good, ok it's not bad at all we have to chop up all the greens and get it done and then we're going to put it all together. I'm going down and
cooking a bit on this hot stone if that's work I don't actually know if it's going to work so hang around and see what happens. Got the spring onion, yeah what's that called in Spanish? Spanish god this is so bad these are snakes oh with your hands yes spade here oh my god your finger is ready the last part is we have to make the secret sauce so the ingredients are garlic , ginger, a bit of mustard, lemon, lime, salt, pepper, olive oil and some vinegar, but we've already pre-
cooked it and it's in my secret sauce jar.
I've never done this before this is the moment of truth. I'll throw some crayon there some pineapple there see how it goes oh yeah we got sizzle oh damn yeah we got sizzle so we're just g I'm just gonna tan the pineapple and the crabs. Oh, by the way, the crabs will probably only last about 10 minutes. It just depends on how hot that
rock gets, but it's sizzling right now and I think this is going to be so damn good Ryder, the first batch of
lobsters is done, I'll just skim that, a little more
lobster on the bucket, look look at that golden brown absolutely oh yeah we're taking it off it's finally time to deal with that and put it all together so first thing we're gonna boom the green salad more green stuff that's parsley and basil alright , we're going to mix this green salad here oh my gosh some crayfish of pineapple some green cheers folks thats it for this episode i hope you enjoyed it give a thumbs up if you want all your merchs subscribe to youngbloods.com there There's a whole bunch of good stuff, that's a damn pack baby
