‘Clean Girl’ Makeup Tutorial & Hydrated Skincare Routine
This video is sponsored by squarespace. hello guys, how are you? i'm jean watts welcome back to my channel thanks for watching i'm doing a youtube on the
girl look which is a very dewy very
hydrated very fresh look trying to make it not so much
makeup. but it's brilliant i mean it's hard for me to do but yeah i was going to do it as a
makeup version but i actually tied the
skincare and skin prep together and i like how it hydrates my skin when my skin doesn't look very
hydrated and glowy i just got back from chicago this morning and every time at the end of a trip my skin looks really bad i tried to put on a lot of masks and try to reset my skin so im going to show you how i do it I did. and i'm trying to use a lot more new products so you guys discover some products that i'm obsessed with ok let's do it so starting with
skincare is really important obviously and especially for this style so it's a way for me to bring some moisture back into my skin and to get a more
hydrated look when I'm not super
hydrated I'm going to take a shower, you know, just put a little bit of water on your skin in your pores and then I try to do what whatever to block it.
I get out of the shower I use the drunk elephant electrolyte facial and f balm and I'll put all of that on and then I'll try to put on an oil so the oil I use feels the most and I'll put that on top and then even to make sure it's locked in i'm going to take some aquaform and really massage it around my face and then i'm going to take the drunk elephant lip balm and put it on i mean my lips. they are so dry my lip splits like super
girls but whatever i leave it on as long as i want but today i left it on for about two hours.
I unpacked a bit, you know, did a bit of work, and then I grabbed a rose Water
Cleanser. I'll put a link under a good one and wipe off some of the aquaphor and oil and mask and then remove it. he glam glow gravity uh mud fit firming treatment mask and this is really so much fun i love putting this on it's like you put it on super shiny you look at the tin man and then you like it's like those peel off masks so it's Super fun, but i love that mask because it leaves this glowy finish and i look so much more
hydrated than i am actually talking about. to more skin prep for this look i am going to take i love this tatra dewy skin cream it is a bit pricey but worth it as i am always in a good mood when i put this on so i am going to put this on like this maybe even on my neck and I'll roll it up okay so I put it on and then I probably don't need to put this on but I love it but it's the recipe for glitter watermelon glitter drops I'm just going to have a bomb of that whatever i just said ok i just put the glue blobs on and i'll let it sit for like a minute really rub it in so my skin looks really flushed and
hydrated yeah ok so now to the primer i'm going to use Tatcha the liquid canvas primer and i'll do it like a pump because i have a lot of cream and everything in there i feel like one pump is all i really need so my skin feels amazing amazing oh OMG so now it's
makeup time heh ok so for this look I don't want a very cakey base that I really wanted to keep. it is light and shimmery even though i will still be wearing
makeup all over my face so i am going to use the iconic london radiance booster in sand shimmer. i'm going to target the high points of my face like i'm not really going to target here for some people who might want to put on my chin i'm not my chin it's prominent enough already i'm going to put my eyes all over here and my forehead wow that it's done a lot already i love that stuff ok so i started with that now for the lower parts of my face i'm going to do a little bit of foundation i'm going to use my giorgio armani luminous silk in shade 575 it's a little light , so I'm going to do a bomb of that and I'm also going to do a 625 bomb if there's any left and a little bit up there like real not much okay so that's as much as the face
makeup as the cream that i want so far i have some pigment marks so i will cover them up. individually i'm going to use the concealer from um mac i think that's a finale it's nc30 i think the mark is a little off and i'm going to use my finger and just lightly check like my nose is a little red so on I'm actually going to do a little bit there I picked myself in the face okay that's all I can see now every time like in person it's going to look one way and then I'll watch these videos.
I'm like oh my gosh I missed this. i missed i couldnt see much else i dont know why but in person right now i think its good so now im going to do some concealer im going to use mac 24hrs r studio fix concealer i like it because its super light and again I don't want a very heavy foundation look. I'm going to do a little bit of your color in nc30 and I'm going to take a little bit of your nw30. I'm just going to put a little bit in there and there okay now I'm going to take my wet beauty blender again and I'm just going to work around my eye right in my eye and still I'm going to take my fingers and just lightly dab it so we have the blank canvas now i'm going to add a little bit of contour and using a cream contour is great i mean you can use a contour stick you can use as a darker foundation i'm going to use patrick todd's for face cream contour and i'm going to use my iconic london brush in 03 and i want to get a little bit of cream bronzer and i'm going to start patting where you want i like to have my contour a little lower than everyone else it's definitely around my hair and again i like to stroke it because swiping can lift your foundation and d your
skincare and it's a little messy makes your skin look a little more blotchy i like to go on my chin and i like to go a little between my brows so it sculpts your face one p oco gives it more dimension so I don't look like the moon emoji so I'm going to try to set this glitter and I'm going to take my laura mossier powder and I'm going to put some product in there and I like to rub it on the lid I just to find that I like to do that and I'm going to start between my nose because if you accidentally have too much product on the puff, it's nice to have a lot of powder around the nose because it makes it look a little bit more snug, I'm just going to touch this.
I didn't use a lot of powder but as you can see it just sets it. I feel like that's where I want that ok so now I'm going to try to set all the cream bronzer I just put on and I'm going to use my powder mac in gold refined gold and then I'm going to take my ico nic london no name brush but it's just the double sided brush omg i'm so de
hydrated well i've also been drinking like every day since i was in chicago it's been like four years since i got back to my hometown. and it was very nice it didn't go very well I didn't go out much but my cousins and I went to a lot of escape rooms I love escape rooms I want to play a game if you don't know what an escape room is go to an escape room it is so much fun i love puzzles i love solving problems its like me and my family on my dads side we will always get together and try to find an escape room no matter what city we are in you better hurry ok so i just set up bronzer.
I'm going to add a little bit of blush. I am such a fan of this mac blush on the heat index. just a little bit i just keep patting in one of my videos instead of keeping it straight i like to keep it straight i feel like when you hold your blush well they can bring out her cheekbones and i really list them but i like to highlight them a little bit to the side . I definitely don't need it but you guys know I love this mac gold shell so I'm just going to grab my rt powder brush and I'll take my matte gold shell and dab my cheeks I'm just obsessed with this stuff even I can do some down here i started paying a lot more attention to my chest and shoulders when i put on my
makeup you just have to make sure you take it all off good at night so i think this will be the last step so for the highlighter i'll use my Marc Jacobs uh glow stick in spotlight had this for a minute now i like to go there and i'm even going to take a little there and go down my nose then i like to take my finger with this i just like to stroke it around my nose and stroke it on my upper lip ok so I desperately need brows holy cow ok so for my brows I'm going to brush them out and d then I'm going to take my iconic london which I'm wearing using a lot of things in this video but I'm wearing iconic london her brow definer and ash blonde to be honest with you i ran out of my mac pencil and i just think i have it i forgot what color it is i think its just brunette yeah the max brow pencil and the brunette is like my favorite color but this is yeah it's just an ash blonde so technically it goes pretty well with my brows ok so I'm going to add some hair as strokes with the palladio brow powder and the soft brown and then we'll take my favorite brow pencil and it's the marc jacobs sharp brow pencil i'm just going to touch it and i'm just going to try my hardest to do just little hair lines just so it blends in a little bit well so i just did that i'm going to
clean it up a bit with this um sharp eye concealer brush so i'll leave it like that for now let's feel it later if i really like it ok so moving on to the eyes i'm wearing my
makeup by m ario master mattes palette and I'm going to take this color and this one and I'm really just going to set the eyeshadow and I'm using my brush and crease dome eyeshadow there's just one flat I'm going here and all the way around so it's like creating a nice
clean booth canvas and it is also setting all the cream and lotions i have on my eye and i want to cure it completely.
I actually took more of the white to bring it around more just to really brighten everything up and now I'm going to take this colourpop brush in e2 it's just a fluffy eyeshadow brush and I'm going to go in with this color here I'm just going to circle around in the eye socket and again really Lightly lightly dusting it blends it really well ok so now I'm taking my color um my crush xo brush it has no name I don't think so and I'm going in I'm going with this color here and just a little bit of that and I'm going to go under it very slightly to add more dimension under the ey So it's very subtle okay now my favorite part because I need it I'm going to take my um it's a brush angled brows and a spoolie and I'm going to go in with this dark color here and just a little bit of black but mostly the dark brown and I'm going to create my brim right here it's very hard to do on camera okay so i did the outside i'm going to do a little bit in the corners here you guys already know in This is how I love to do my eyeliner alright so I just did a little bit of eyeliner here and a little bit of powder liner on the outside and now I'm going to take my marc jacobs um smudge brush and go going to go in with this color right here and very lightly go as close to my waterline as i can without going into my waterline just creating a little bit of depth but again i didn't put a lot of product in there because i don't want there to be a thick line just a little definition, you know what I mean, okay, four lashes, can you tell some of you have really nice thick lashes? none of them can you put full lashes for the mascara i'm using my favorite mascara it's new and it's mac it's the micro brush from mac because i'm going to put lashes in the corners i'm going to try and get this mascara all over my lashes instead of just the lashes tips like i usually do well so i just applied the mascara so now i'm going to put the side lashes in and i'm going to use my glue duo and black i can't remember if these are kiss lashes i mean they are kiss lashes , but they come as small medium medium large I'm going to try to find them and put a link below so I'm taking my tweezers and I'm taking the medium and putting a little bit of glue on there I always like to put a little thing of glue in there it's probably wasteful but whatever I just take the tabs and dip them in there and you know what I'm going to put on the outside corners and this just adds a little bit of fullness to the end it opens up the little bit more eye and It lifts it up a bit I always think it's really pretty it's very subtle but enough we're liking it ok I'm starting to shine a bit so I'm taking a little more of my laura mercier I'm just tapping here , here, i'd rather you know add a little bit more a little bit more at a time than put a ton like bake especially if it's for daytime ok so i feel like my eye today can handle a little more eyeshadow in the bottom so I'm going to go in with this right color here for my mario
makeup by the mario palette and I'm going to add just a little bit more underneath not a ton if this isn't enough I could put a liner on the bottom bottom not sure if i love it yet so now i'm going to take i feel like i need it i'm using the nyx brow tint um but i'm actually using it for my eye and look how it's like theshadow moved.
I'm going to take a liner oh this is so hard to do on camera and just make that line sharper ok so I'm going to do a little nose outline and go. take my iconic london brush in 09 and i'm going to take my patrick top palette o face i'm just going to like i'm not doing it much sometimes i do i just want to do a little here just a little here so i want to add a little bit of highlighter on the inside of my eyes maybe just a little more on my nose and I'm going to take my trusty highlighter stick just a little highlighter stick and add a little bit of nose just a little more I'm going to add that and the inside a little under and actually even a little here and a little bit of hair ok so for the lips dammit i need lips i hate how i have to wait till the end for the lips for the lips i'm going to take my mac lipstick and reflect on it and i'm just going to touch it a little i want a lot of color but i just want a little life and now i want to take my cossas liner in the shade supreme so this is really dark so you can make a lighter color.
I love darker lips so I'm going to show you how to do it. i like to line the top and place it more right there on the bottom line you know what i forgot too i forgot the mascara on the bottom of my lashes sorry guys and to top it off my favorite lip gloss at the moment this is because the lip oil and the dip and i'm going to put a lot on there you know i can't be very picky right now but sometimes i take individual lashes and put more on there just to blend it will i? them for this video no i'll leave it as is but this is the final look super shiny super fresh super
hydrated i look like i live in a water bottle and no oh of course i totally forgot my control freak my brows im going to take my nyx control freak make sure these babies stay in place very very important ok yo i think we're done.
