New Video from Takeoff Shooting Shows Man with Gun, Person of Interest for Cops | TMZ Live
with this horrible tragedy with the death of the
takeoff um we've seen a
video we've seen a lot of footage of what happened at 2:30 in the morning in Houston yesterday but now the police seem to be honing some footage in this new
video that we have to say it
interest in this
shooting uh someone a gunman standing right there in the crowd with
takeoff and cuevo uh like an argument is going on a heated argument between quavo and some other unknown men who were there
takeoff is what you are about what you are about to see and hear take off his foot a few feet behind quavo but pay attention there is a man dressed in black as the conversation continues and that man has his hand on a gun in the gym so the police want to find this guy um and you see you know even before the argument reaches a high pitch his hand is right on that gun he is on the gun the whole time and you saw Cuevo in the orange shirt walking past once the argument was over and it was two seconds after he walks crow walks past the camera the first shot is fired now again we said the police uh want to talk to this man as a
interest there's nothing we've seen on the
video now you see him raise the gun at that point but we can't say for sure he fired the first shot we just don't see it exactly and you also can't see if he fired any shot where his shots landed if this was the weapon he could possibly take off because it looks like he was almost
shooting in his defense because he's going the same direction we'd seen them go as well.
interesting point here in this
video is you hear quavo sort of say look I'm leaving, like he's over this, like he's like, come on, come on, like he's trying to get away from whatever was going on. and not to add to that that was a very
interesting point as well yeah it definitely didn't sound like he was trying to climb he ate stuff more it was more like hey you know his tone seemed to be we're moving on this isn't what it's about and you heard him say something about basketball I wish we hadn't talked to anyone who is there to give us some more information about what that was why basketball came out we know that Cuevo plays basketball he is very good I don't know if someone was challenging him or something but he didn't have it and he just wanted walk away and then shots started flying but how much angrier each
video we get guys and the more information we learn and the conversations we hear you had and see quavo walk away than this f It was a
shooting and this recurred to that it had to come to that because of some silly argument and people just start
shooting guns blindly in a crowd.
I don't know, there were 30 people out there, people who weren't even involved randomly firing a gun. I mean, it's disgusting. he's angry and he should sti I'll be a
live that's uh Brad exactly what you said is what um the head of quality control the label uh Pierre Thomas uh posted something last night a message that was mostly aimed at taking off just saying how much he loved it and wanted him to people to understand the value of life they wanted the fans they wanted hip-hop in general to remember that you don't have to resort to violence when things heat up because it's very clear that it heats up over seemingly nothing I mean it's so awesome I mean what Brad said it's so true there's all these people there and they pull out a gun and then whoever he shot because when he ever fired that when you listen it sounds like there was more than one gun firing at the same time so there may be multiple um and it looks like the take off may have been hit in the crossfire it's not clear um but you know one of the things I was thinking about and I have to think on this because i realized while looking at it there is something in the law called felony murder that if you commit a felony you would definitely shoot the gun even if you didn't even if your bullet isn't the one that kills the
takeoffs, the classic case is a bank robber where the getaway driver is outside the bank, but the
person is with walks in and shoots someone, the hit-and-run driver will also be charged with murder , felony, because it's a murder committed in the commission of a felony, right?
I'm thinking this up to literally apologizing um while we're looking at this because it doesn't necessarily mean you have to prove that that bullet is the one that hit the
takeoff if that
shooting if you look at this then what? What I'm saying is basically in this situation where there was clearly no reason that we could see or hear for someone to pull out a gun and shoot, I mean, the only way he fired that first shot, whether or not it hit someone, could potentially be accused without it's kind of me Excuse me, I'm thinking about this if I saw it, but I realized that way.
I mean, will they ever find this weapon? I don't know but you know these are tough cases in that sense but we should mention that aside from the
videos we've gotten we're pretty sure the police have surveillance as well it's a relatively new complex we're sure they'll have multiple angles and that will help you figure out what happened here and quality control as a hallmark guys too so P also had a statement on quality control they put out a statement saying and mentioning that the
takeoff was hit by a straight bullet, which led me to believe that maybe the police or someone is starting to dig a little bit more here because at one point we couldn't figure out what was intentional what wasn't okay okay I think that's to the point which means we have a
takeoff right there. next to the
takeoff of the crow i He is not involved in this discussion you don't see him talk you don't see him messing with anyone so I think Stray Bullet was an innocent bystander in this yes most tragically my name is DJ KW of Long Island.
New York and first of all I would like to give my condolences to the QC take off family and the rest of Migos and I am also sorry to quavo because ultimately that bullet could have meant Ben meant to him , so you know it's very tragic. out with such an innocent man and you know he's pro-culture migos is pro-culture and it's really sad and i hope they find the shooter um i hope someone comes forward um you took an innocent man's life and you know that we just want someone to hold accountable for this
person's tragic death, you know, I have to say there was no circumstance where you would understand it, but the fact that it was such a trivial thing is I just don't know why that makes it eve n worse is how can it's hard to process that yes it's hard to process
