So mache Ich meine Animationsvideos
In this video I show you the steps how I make my animation videos Because it really is the most frequently asked question with me in the comments. But I am pleased that so many animations like it. Because the same. Because you can really show everything you want with drawings. And that without expensive camera equipment. And actually I always say to the question: Watch videos on YouTube that explain this. But so many have asked me now, now the video here becomes one of those videos. So come with me on my journey. I will show you a little of my daily work.
And you may find it very interesting. Like a little crash course. I hope we don't crash. AAAhh Starting anything is always heavier But let's say that I'm starting a video idea now. And I want to make a video about it. I always write a script first, where everything I want to tell is written. This is extremely important. Otherwise I forget important things or repeat them myself. Or tell unnecessary details. Do I really need to mention that again? to subscribe to the channel? Be sure to think it over carefully. Otherwise, draw later in the animation step. Phrases that were actually completely unnecessary.
Why am I drawing the same scene at all for the fifth time? And I have to say that I am struggling with writing.always extremely difficult. But when I've finished my script then and I'm kind of happy with it, now I always do a storyboard for myself. I roughly sketch each scene from the above video. Because otherwise I would completely miss losing - And that can easily happen with something like that. Maybe you recognize the video? And I personally like that on paper to do because, in a way, it's great to have such a unique original copy of the video to have in hand.
Maybe one day I can sell it. And it's been over a week so far. But that's nothing compared to the next Step. The biggest and most important part, the "animation" or also: the drawing. Because here I make each panel my own storyboard for a finished scene. And yes, I really have to do it all myself to draw. Only. And how I always do my animation process like to describe is: I make drawings. And cut them together. So now in a scene where I shake I should just draw myself like this. And once like that. If I'm fancy, I also do something in between.
But often it takes me too long. And then I have the foregroundDrawings. But that still doesn't look smooth enough to me. outside. I want it to look like this later. And there's a little trick to that. I'll show you right now. And you can do the trick in any drawing program. Do what you want. Because what's also gross about it: you can actually do all of this in any drawing program, whatever you want. And in general you don't even need it to draw. It's not expensive equipment. I have most of my videos on a €60 graphics tablet made.
Since then I have gotten more and more updates, but you can also just take what you have to start with. I even recently started sometimes drawing my scenes on the tablet on the go, and it works great. And the trick for the animation of that too.do is: And the trick, how to make my animations more fluiddo. Oh no, I guess my cell phone isn't working. The hand slipped. Luckily, the cell phone was from a Rhinoshield-protected box. Today's sponsor. Because that's what Rhinoshield covers are for, known for being particularly robust. And there is a great selection of designs Minimalist, unusual or by movies and series.
You can even easily create your own designs.up. And all that, for almost all devices. So there is something for everyone. For Apple users, Rhinoshield also has MagSafe compatible cases released, with an extremely strong magnet. This keeps your accessories very tight. your turn. Rhinoshield is also a campaign donor for the preservation of wild northern rhinos, of which only 2 exist. If you are interested and want to know more, a video was also produced for this on the Jonas Ems channel. Very good action from Rhinoshield. Check out the campaign and Rhinoshield for everyone likes to fall. You can also go up to Black Friday week at 60% off.
And with my code _ you get the 10% discount on top. Thanks to Rhinoshield, and now to the video So the animation trick is: Man has both photos. And to make it smoother, I do it on Image Transition, a frame where the image is stretched a bit. This gives the scene more of that bounce effect and I don't even have to pull anything extra for it. Of course, this is not always possible, but it is often really useful. Now that we have the foreground, only the background is missing. And I love the backgrounds, because they always give a certain atmosphere to the scene.
But making a background also takes time, again extremely long. And then he can only be seen for a very short time. And in the background. For example, this background was full 4 seconds to view. And I'll probably never see him again. Well I have a background for now. I drew the scene. I then put the two together. And now I have a finished scene. And that's for each storyboard panel. Some scenes are also more complex and some scenes.. not like that. So this is all very, very simplified. But yeah, if I do that, then for each storyboard panel, let's move on to the next step.
The step that bothers me the most. record audio. You could also do it right after the script, but I always procrastinate so much that I do it at the end before cutting to do. Because when recording audio, I mess up far too often. And then I have to listen to this for hours and cut. Then the last step where I cut everything together. music, sound effects. And we have a finished video! Now create a thumbnail and write a title. And then I upload the video. And everyone can see the video. I wonder how people find it.
Ah, certain comment. “When is the next video coming out?” … you can meanwhile watch the video. If you haven't seen it yet, click definitely up there
