The Rings of Power is NOT Tolkien's story! This trailer confirms it!

Amazon has released what appears to be the final

trailer

for The

Rings

of

Power

and is laying all of their cards on the table, and none of those cards will resemble anything

Tolkien

wrote.

This

trailer

shows us more of the characters and world Amazon created in the

Rings

of

Power

and none of it still resembles what

Tolkien

wrote. None of the characters, uh, none of the places the characters are where they're not supposed to be, and

this

trailer

delves even more into that reality, it's really the novel that

Tolkien

never wrote because he'd have it never written to quote jd payne and patrick mckay the showrunners so let's take a look at

this

trailer

and talk about all the problems it has for not looking like token what

tolkien

wrote in fact here are the things it focuses on.
the rings of power is not tolkien s story this trailer confirms it
It focuses on the rewritten Galadriel. The rewritten Tarmurial Then of course the Hartfords have a long three four sentence monologue right there, uh, it's got Galadriel and Numenor, it's got Elrond lecturing, it's focusing on the Meteorman, all those things aren't anything

Tolkien

ever did wrote almost the entire

trailer

you can. Don't show a direct line between what

Tolkien

wrote and what is shown in

this

trailer

, so let's take a quick look because none of

this

, none of

this

, none of

this

shows me that they respected his works or to quote you went back to the books go back to the book back to the book back to the book so here's galadriel's first line in the

trailer

er where she talks about it you know her desire for revenge my brother gave his life chasing the enemy his job is mine now ok first of all talking about finron felgun her brother who was with baron and was killed by sauron's werewolves wouldn't that have happened her whole line that she is there to avenge his death , no basis in

Tolkien

's Wro hat Te uh, she was in Doriath with millions of Damaya and didn't spend her time avenging the deaths of her brothers, she essentially spent her time helping the downfall of the Va lar to escape because she took part in the killing of the kin in Aqualandi, so for her in

this

role of avenger there is nothing that can be traced back to a

Tolkien

road, it just isn't there, and then we get the line that standing with me as if she's the one who has always led all the armies in middle earth it's again you're delving into the book that

tolkien

never wrote because

tolkien

never would have written it.
the rings of power is not tolkien s story this trailer confirms it
Our meeting was no accident Neither our fate nor our destiny was the work of something greater that makes them sound like Gandalf when Gandalf speaks of things happening with greater purpose which is an appeal to a Louvitar's will, er, you know the god of arda the god of the whole universe and as he wills he causes things to happen but her line that neither our fate nor our destiny was the work of something greater she runs from fate that over she was spoken to and for the longest time she couldn't face him until The Fellowship of the Ring when Frodo offers her the ring and she says I know I passed the test I'll pick it up and go west go and stay Collider and the idea that she is the driving force behind everything is not supported anywhere in

Tolkien

's work and indeed here we now see another new character not supported in

Tolkien

's work ir.
the rings of power is not tolkien s story this trailer confirms it
I wish they had gone back and given us something to say it speaks directly of

tolkien

there is absolutely zero events like

this

in

this

trailer

there is nothing like oh

this

here

this

comes from what

tolkien

has written or from what

tolkien

even said in his appendices to claim that they use the appendices is a complete farce. There are no attachments that talk about these characters, that talk about what Galadriel said, that talk about Hal Brand or Aaron Dear or Diesel or Harfords in the second age, it's their hubris, it's their idea that they do something like that Good stuff like

Tolkien

can write, and they just use Middle-earth as that weird sketch pad to create something totally not based on what

Tolkien

wrote.
the rings of power is not tolkien s story this trailer confirms it
Perhaps the most surprising thing is that she's decided to lean into

this

character of Meteor Man, who we haven't gotten any confirmation of yet as to who he is, but it seems like he's in a starry sky, he's a Gandalf, er, radagast, a sour man, he's one of the wizards, just the blue the brown The whites, er, the wizards who were sent by the Valar in the third age, not the second age, to help the peoples of Middle-earth to help fight back against someone, right, that's why they weren't sent in the second age that they are to write A World

Tolkien

didn't write and to say that

this

guy here, Meteor Man, was there.
the rings of power is not tolkien s story this trailer confirms it
I mean it's either in a

story

or it's something completely new and we'll find out in a few weeks but it's like it's not there and when other people tell you wow why are you upset about that is

Tolkien

, right, isn't that great, we're seeing middle-earth, no, that's not

Tolkien

, that's not what he wrote, those are characters that were. n there and that shouldn't be there, there is a great

story

that

tolkien

told about the second age with gilgalad and with elrond and with kelebrimbor and with caliborn and with er galadriel right and with and with numenoreans and with dis and aldarion and all these told characters he could have gone to, but they chose not to, they chose to just lean into the one character they thought was your princess.
the rings of power is not tolkien s story this trailer confirms it
We're going to make her a warrior princess and that's what we're getting with Galadriel and we're not just getting it with certainties either we're getting it with tarmerial the queen regent of Numenor who wasn't the queen regent of Numenor or she was the king's daughter who died and then was taken to Mrs. Bar Farazan to usurp the throne she never was and to pretend she was again contradicting what

tolkien

wrote, that's not the character that

tolkien

wrote to pretend to lie, but they do so throughout the

trailer

This

is a one-shot that sure could be

Tolkien

's.

This

one-shot is kind of right without the character saying anything. That could be and then here we get aaron lieb talking more again and so all these characters and galadriel apparently went to valinor and there is hal brand and a sea serpent so fine i will give them the sea serpent but that never happened again, that's not something

Tolkien

wrote, they act like they make things up Find a way, nobody will, we have characters, we have, we have, uh, the

story

, we have Places where characters were right together, we didn't get the fellowship of the ring with a black dwarf instead of gimli, we got the fellowship of the ring but we get something completely different here, they had enough to go back to where they had the Things didn't have to change, but they decided that in their own intelligence and wisdom they would go ahead and do it because they knew

Tolkien

better than perhaps the greatest novelist of the world 20th century, they really believed that, and it's shown here in

this

trailer

, because that kind of thing didn't really happen in

Tolkien

's writings and back then There are the hobbits, I'm sorry, the harfeet, because we hobbits in the second age don't can say because those didn't exist but the harfeet they got a short little monologue here about how they are the best creatures in middle earth um let's listen to

this

one thing we can do better than any creature in all of middle earth .
We remain true to each other, with even bigger hearts in our feet. oh

this

is so funny it's not only heartfelt but a comedy reclusive hobbits aren't exactly the ones who go out and discover what all the other creatures are in middle earth and i get the whole idea that these hobbits wandering and roaming from place to place, er, refutes how

tolkien

first wrote them first of all there was no memory of hobbits anywhere in the second age, nor did they have to, that's nostalgia bait, that's them pushing forward in what you think people don't want what

tolkien

wrote stays true to what he wrote because it h As has already said millions and millions of people creating something brand new in

this

trailer

and trying to show it to us to ramble on and say

this

is

Tolkien

's world is a lie, it's not true, and uh, I'm still, uh, not disappointed.
In all honesty, they had an opportunity in 1999 to do something great build when Peter Jackson started promoting the Fellowship of the Ring and filming started and all the settings were done and there was so much skepticism at the time but he always pointed out how faithful they were trying to stay

Tolkien

and the first

Trailer

s made it clear that all these

trailer

s can be heard talking about Galadriel Tarmurial Aaron Deere Hal Brand Diesa Harfords Gladreal Numenor Elron Galadriel the Meteor Man these speeches by Hartfords that have no place in Middle-earth, they are making something up and here's the kicker .
I have a feeling

this

could be a really interesting

story

if it wasn't set in

Tolkien

's world, they're cr Eating Something Completely New Something that has absolutely no basis in

Tolkien

's world other than the names. The interactions of these characters, Tarmerio and Galadriel, did not happen. Elrond telling Galadriel not to fight didn't happen The meteor man he didn't happen or Isildur talking to Gladreal didn't happen all those things that just didn't happen they make it up and

this

one latest

trailer

confirms

that there is nothing here that has died in the wool for a long time, so

Tolkien

readers like me can point to it and say oh, the line of

Tolkien

is drawn straight to what is shown or said right here in

this

trailer

, it just isn't there and to say the opposite is an outright lie.
I'll still watch the show, but you'll know what I think about it. I'm going to approach it two ways, I think one as if it's not tokenized and two as if it's tokenized and I'm probably going to have two completely different reactions because if

this

were something brand new it doesn't look bad looking but to say his token is a complete farce so these are my thoughts is there anything here that is

Tolkien

is there anything in

this

trailer

that says hey uh you missed that Jonathan

Tolkien

is represented here in

this

part of the

trailer

i don't think so but i could be wrong occasionally here it happens twice but yes let me know your comments i will reply below and like subscribe share right i would people know let

this

not be

Tolkien

.
Don't Don't let the people who haven't read the Silmarillion and the Unfinished Stories or even the Appendices agree with the king that

this

isn't what

Tolkien

wrote so subscribe and share and the Letting people know there's something better that

Tolkien

wrote that's out there, thanks
